Last week, I shared two new gift guide videos on YouTube. Many blogger gift guides contain gifts that were sent to us for review by a PR company and while some are worth of sharing, many are not. I pride my videos on containing mostly items I discovered on my own peppered with a few great ones that came to my attention thanks to marketing professionals. The first video gift guide was shot at Olives and Grace, a local Boston shop that features small businesses who produce artisinal goods. I featured many of my favorite products available in store including Brooklyn Slate Cheese Board ($26), the Mason Shaker ($29) and delicious, organic chocolate from Not Your Sugar Mama’s in Martha’s Vineyard ($8-42).

Additionally, I included my favorite new pair of Pulse Oakley sunglasses ($120), a tripod called the Slingshot ($20) for your iPhone from Photojojo and my book of course. I featured a couple pairs of earphones in my first gift guide round up available at Target and today I have another pair that is more widely available for those of you that don’t live near a Bullseye store.   • I can’t really tell you that here because they read my blog and that would ruin the surprise! However, you can bet that they are all getting their own signed copy of Get Skinny Again… lol. I LOVE your book! I’ve read it cover to cover, and it’s so simple and helpful. I’m a college student who put on a bit of weight (not unhealthy, but I’d like to get to a happier weight) and I’m confident that your book will help me achieve my fitness goals.
As a longtime reader and viewer, I would appreciate a video on how to do a couple of the exercises, but I know that is difficult to do, since people may just watch the videos instead of getting the whole book. The descriptions are great, but a video would make them a little easier to understand.

Which move? I totally understand. I love video for that exact reason. I know we had ideas to translate the book into an app at some point so perhaps we will in 2014. In the mean time, let me know and I can help you out in these comments. Feel free to share your feelings on amazon too :) hehe

Quick question. I know that you’re not supposed to work the same muscles every strength workout. Is it safe/effective to do the “total body blast: strength training at the gym 1″ for my strength training 3 days a week? Also to clarify, you say to do the first circuit 3 times through. So we do circuit 2 and 3 only once?

Yes, just make sure to take off 1 day a week. You will be sore after Day 1 so you’ll want the rest :) You are supposed to do circuit 2 and 3 three times as well just like you do circuit 1.
