Green Chef Unboxing Video and Keto Plan Review

Today I’m sharing with you a review of Green Chef, the first USDA certified organic meal delivery kit company.

I was so excited to try Green Chef because my biggest complaint about meal delivery kits is that they always skimp on veggies and Green Chef prides itself on delivering more than their competitors. (Spoiler: They are right!)

This fall, Green Chef introduced a new menu featuring ketogenic diet friendly meals. If you follow a Paleo diet, you will find the Keto Meal Plan a perfect fit however they do offer a Paleo Meal Plan as well as a Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian and more.

Green Chef Review Keto

The Keto plan is low carb, as well as dairy- and gluten-free. You have the flexibility to change your Meal Plan each week as well.

Inside each each box you’ll find 3 dinners for 2 people with recipe cards featuring step-by-step instructions, chef tips and photos. Ingredients are organic and have no GMO’s, synthetic pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones or steroids. They are also pre-portioned and many are pre-prepped including pre-chopped items and Green Chef signature sauces, marinades and spice mixes. The packaging is also 100% compostable or recyclable.

For a closer look at what comes in the box, check out my latest YouTube video featuring an unboxing and meals.

It’s like the team at Green Chef took every possible complaint from other meal kit companies and solved all the problems.

Like all Green Chef meals, the Keto meal plan also takes just about 30 minutes to cook making this a family friendly love affair.

We were sent the Tuna Puttanesca, Balsamic-Rosemary Steak and Coconut Curry Chicken to enjoy and you can see the process for each by checking out the video here

I was impressed with how many veggies came with each meal! We even had leftovers the night we had the Coconut Curry Chicken, which was my favorite. Green Chef Review Paleo

The meals really did take just a half hour to make which was surprising. The steak took the longest because we roasted the veggies but other than that it was so simple and easy to make. We marinated the steak in a balsamic rosemary sauce that was also used with some of the veggies to tie the flavors together.

The Coconut Curry Chicken was a twist on chicken fingers. Instead of an egg wash and breadcrumbs, we used coconut milk and dried coconut flakes. We dipped them into a green curry aioli that was soooo good. It was paired with a simple salad that was full of flavor.

Green Chef Meal Plan Review

The Tuna Puttanesca was bursting with flavor and my second favorite as I am a huge tuna steak person. We used seared green beans instead of pasta and I just thought this was such a fun idea and worked really well with the other flavors that included olives, capers, red onion and garlic.

For me, it was funny to make my own salad dressing each night as I usually am a pre-made dressing girl. It made me realize how much sugar is in the ones I usually buy! At the end of each meal, I felt completely satisfied and did not crave dessert. I felt great and now I’m thinking maybe I’ll have to give this Keto diet a try?

If you love have meal kits delivered to your house, you have to try Green Chef. I promise you will not be disappointed.
