I woke up early today to get in a run, post a blog and head to the airport on time. I’m visiting Baltimore for Fitbloggin and coincidentally, Expo East will also be there. I’m hoping to make it there for a few hours today. It is a healthy foodie’s paradise. I would go every year when it was in Boston and felt like a child during Halloween. I woke up at 6:45 AM and went for a challenging run after I ate 1/2 an apple.
I actually ran 5 miles but love to leave the heart rate monitor running to see how long it takes my body to recover. I burned about 460 calories during my 50 minute run. I almost burned another hundred during the next 25 minutes stretching and preparing breakfast. I was in the mood for oats so I had muesli fusion with buckwheat.
I boiled 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of almond milk. Added 1/4 cup of the muesli mix plus 1 tbsp, and 3 tbsp of buckwheat groats. A serving of the muesli is 1/3 cup but I wanted to add the groats, hence the awkward measurements. I added extra almond milk at the end and a few NuNaturals Vanilla Stevia drops.
My next priority is to pack for the weekend trip. I’m speaking on Friday about “The Power of YouTube.” I’m very excited and a little nervous. I’m great at speaking in front of a crowd, but not so great at creating powerpoint presentations.
My current dilemma is that I can’t find my bloggie video camera. In the move, it was misplaced and I’ve yet to find it. I am the worst when it comes to forgetting where I put things. Pray to St. Anthony for me that it shows up before I’ve gotta leave!
