It seems that the “holiday season” officially begins the day after Halloween rather than Black Friday these days. I even saw a Christmas tree on top of an SUV in the Target parking lot! I usually reserve my Holiday gift guides for later in the season but feel this year it’s more appropriate to publish at least a short list sooner than later.
As you know, I’ve been working with Adidas since June and have fallen in love with a few of their products. One of my top picks are the adidas Boost sneakers. These shoes are comfortable, make me feel light on my feet and sometimes I think they allow me to run farther on less energy.
At Disney, Jess informed me that not only is it her husbands shoe of choice but that also many of the top runners who finished the New York City marathon also wear this shoe! It claims to also have a longer shelf life than most running shoes but since I’ve only been wearing them since July, I’ll have to let you know the verdict on my personal experience this Spring as I rotate between a few pairs to keep my pretty kicks looking fresh. This is a great buy for male and female runners, newbies and speed demons.
Another favorite of mine is the TechFit Cold Weather Pull over. At $60, it’s a mid priced layer, perfect for running in colder temperatures or just hanging out. I love the bright color for being outdoors after the sun goes down or before it comes up. The thumbholes make life a little better when your fingers are freezing.
