Yesterday, I did not feel like blogging. I had a disappointment hangover from a certain even that played out on National television from Indianapolis. Moving forward… I used Random.org to select a winner last night for the Polar FT60 Heart Rate Monitor. Congrats to Brittany for winning! I was so happy to see all positive [...]

Today I have a recipe that I’m pretty pumped to share with all of you. It’s a combination of a few recipes and any similarities to other recipes are coincidence as I promise I whipped it up on my own. After reading about Chocolate Covered Katie’s usage of chickpeas in baked goods, I was determined [...]

I love eating peanut butter with celery as part of my diet plan for meal #4. Rarely am I satisfied though with 2 tbsp of peanut butter which comes out to 200 calories. I eat as much celery as I want but still it’s not the same without peanut butter. I recently came up with [...]

I admit I’ve bought soy protein because it was cheap. I use protein powder daily for my breakfast pancake. I choose whey protein (isolate if you can afford it) sweetened with stevia. I know it was the best way to go but now there is science that proves it is better than soy protein when [...]

As a blogger, labeling recipes as Vegan or Gluten Free is a tricky decision. On one hand, non vegan readers may think this recipe is not for them. Some automatically think, gross, while other’s like me are intrigued. Many of my recipes are unintentionally vegan and gluten free but I eat neither diet purposefully. When [...]

This Friday is Earth Day! For over 40 years, Earth Day—April 22—has inspired and mobilized individuals and organizations worldwide to demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. I don’t believe I’ve ever actively participated in Earth Day on my own, so this year I’m taking the initiative and giving all of you my [...]

This weekend I tried my second Saturday class of Hip Hop Yoga at Back Bay Yoga in Boston. This class is becoming a favorite. It’s not hot yoga, but I sweat like it is! I take the Hip Hop version during the week but the Saturday class with Lynn is extra sweaty. Afterwards, I [...]
