Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday! I cannot express how grateful I am for having so many wonderful people in my life and readers/viewers/followers who care enough to drop me a simple well wish.
My two favorite gifts would be a pair of Tory Burch flats which I’ve been waiting to buy since Christmas and a video message from my nephew wishing me a happy birthday in the cutest 2-year-old voice ever. Thank you again to everyone!
Yesterday, I had a production company fly in from LA to film with ME. Boy did I feel special. It was part of my community leadership role with The Laughing Cow, and I’m excited to share it with you when it is done.
But until, then I can’t really say much about it. The gang turned my living room into a full on TV set, which I loved.
They even brought someone in to do my hair and makeup!
The crew got here at 11 am and didn’t leave until 5 pm. It was a pretty long day.
Afterwards, I had to go to the Junior League for a class on manners featuring Jodi Smith of Mannersmith.com.
Did you know that it is a myth that you have to give a wedding gift within a year of the reception/ceremony? You actually are suppose to send it BEFORE! I had no idea. At the end, she gave away two prizes. One of which I was given because it was my birthday. I received her book “From Clueless to Class Act: Manner for the Modern Woman.” I still have no idea how she found out, but I was excited! I never learned the little details of etiquette for things like fine dining so I’m eager to read the book.
Afterwards, I met roomie for dinner at Toro. It was amazing! So delicious. If you live in Boston and go, you must gate the dates, cauliflower, eggplant, and shrimp. Everything we ordered was amazing including my tequila mango beverage that had a hint of jalapeno. No pictures, sorry.
Lastly instead of a cake, I went to Pinkberry for a birthday dessert. Perfection.
Thank you to everyone for helping make my 27th birthday so special.
