As soon as I turn off the heat at home, my body immediately starts craving smoothies in the morning.
I want something hydrating, crisp and refreshing, preferably with something green. Today, I am sharing one of my favorite smoothies that I make without bananas or protein powder. There is nothing wrong with either one, but I just sometimes want something lighter. This is a great beverage to have first thing in the morning or as a snack later on in the day.
What you’ll need:
- Silk Cashew or Almond milk – unsweetened vanilla
- Pineapple – fresh or frozen
- Mint
- Cucumber
- Kale
- Ice
Smoothies are a great way to add nutrition to your diet, appease hunger and enjoy a delicious treat. I love Silk’s Cashew milk and Almond milk because they do not use carageenan or other creepy ingredients that I try to avoid. This video is sponsored by Silk but I legit love their product. This looks awesome! I really like Green Monster smoothie you shared at some point last year- definitely a regular in my smoothie rotation! My favorite summer smoothie is: pineapple, mango, spinach, avocado, and cilantro. I usually opt for green tea or a tea from the hovenia dulcis (an Asian tree) as my liquid agents.
Definitely have to try this, I have been loving the addition of fresh mint to my water bottles, I’m sure it tastes amazing in a smoothie as well.
Looks good! How many calories?
