Link: 4 Workouts to Make the Most of Your Treadmill Time

I HATE the treadmill. I didn’t use to, but ever since I found running in the cold to be amazingly therapeutic, I realized I cannot stand to run more than 15 minutes on the thing. I only use the treadmill when I am doing intervals these days, so this post from Runner’s World on Active.com I thought would be helpful for you as well. Here is a snip it, but click the link above to view the entire article.

The “Fast 15”

Do this workout when you’re pressed for time. Jog for three minutes. Then increase the speed to a faster pace and hold it for two minutes (it’s okay if you’re huffing and puffing a bit by the end). Walk for 30 seconds. Repeat the sequence. Next, extend the run portion to three minutes. Walk for 30 seconds. Repeat. Cool down with a short walk.

    Hey Sarah,
In february, I tore the ligaments in my right ankle and I am still recovering from it. I was wondering what cardio exercises I can do that doesn’t involve running because that hurts my ankle

    Thanks 🙂
