Can’t Stop The Beet Workout & Love Beets Giveaway

Today I have a chance for you guys to win free Love Beets, an iPod shuffle and the grand prize of a free one year gym membership! I shot this video for Love Beets as part of their Can’t Stop The Beet Giveaway.

The workout is a 3-minute bodyweight cardio workout perfect to use as a warm up before an outdoor fall run or beginners challenge first thing in the morning. The best part is that you have to keep up with the beat of the song and we shot it in real time so you can follow along! Originally we were going to use, ‘We Got The Beat’ by the Go-Go’s but since licensing wasn’t in our favor, we chose another fun 80’s fast track we legally could use!

I’ve long told you guys the benefits of music when it comes to powering up your workout, but did you know that beets can also help boost performance and stamina? Eating or drinking beets in a smoothie or juice because it enhances your tolerance to high intensity activity.

Beets are also amazing prenatal snacks for their high levels of folic acid. Three beets give you 70% of your RDA. They also help detoxify your liver, lower cholesterol, high in iron, reduce blood pressure, increase sex drive, good for heart health and helps you build better bones! [source]

Beets have long been a favorite side dish, salad topping and juice ingredient of mine for a long time. owever, I hate making them from scratch. Cleaning, boiling, peeling and chopping it a long process which is why I usually just buy them ready made and seasoned from Love Beets.

My favorite is the mild vinegar because they taste great on their own or on top of a salad.
