With Thanksgiving just a few days a way, that means it is officially the giving season. I will be hosting a bunch of giveaways over the next few weeks and the first one up is from Nourish Snacks.
Working from home, portion control will always be a struggle. It’s just too easy to grab another handful. I try to buy snacks that are sold in single serving packages to make it easy on myself. It’s also convenient for when I travel or pack a lunch. Unfortunately, these options are usually limited to trail mix or bars which can be expensive.
Like monthly beauty box subscriptions, the health industry introduced snack boxes. Some had iffy ingredients, others had too much sugar and I pretty much gave up on finding one I really liked. I was asked to sample Nourish snacks, a brand by NBC’s Today show Nutrition and Health Expert, Joy Bauer and to my surprise, the snacks were not full of sugar but were simple and made with wholesome ingredients.
The best part was that this wasn’t a reoccurring membership you had to have. You could just order the snacks when you wanted and even pick out the exact kinds you were sent!
What separates Nourish from its competitors is the fact that servings are already measured and pre packaged. No serving is over 200 calories and each packet is a realistic snack serving size. There are 35 snack blends that contain no GMO’s, no preservatives, no harmful artificial colors or sweeteners. They are also natural gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian.
I think my favorite sweet treat are the Monkey Love granola bites or Menage-a-Mix for a kick of protein. Kathie Lee and Hoda recently named Nourish Snacks one of their favorite things of 2014. You can buy specific flavors a la carte at $10 for 5 bags, order a set of 20 for $36 or get 50 bags for $86.

My go-to snacks are almonds, fruit or some sort of protein bar. Healthy snacking a little throughout the day keeps me in line with portion sizes at meal time. If I don’t get a snack in in usually ravenous by dinner!
I love the mambo mix from Food for Life, the to go packs are great and already portioned out. I also love individual bags of popcorn, non GMO dairy free. Pure bars are also a go to and Costco sells those, also the GMO, gluten and dairy free 🙂
My favorite snacks are apples with peanut butter, carrots with hummus, and banana with yogurt. I always measure my serving and then put the rest away so I’m not tempted to come back and pour more. If I’m packing snacks to take with me, I measure and pour into small containers or bags. Personally, it’s easier for me to overeat carbs and fats than fruit and veggies. Keeping snacks in proper proportion is pretty simple if it’s fruit with nut butter, carrots with hummus, etc. It gets more difficult when I make a batch of granola bars and have to be reasonable in what size I divide them. 😛
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! 🙂
I try to preportion out granola and grapes and use them to snack on throughout the day. I also love a larabar for a quick snack/mini meal.
I usually have almonds for a quick snack. Its easy to bring to go when I go to school or work. Otherwise I also love apples.
Snacking has always been one thing that is hard for me. I used to mindlessly munch all the time. I have learned how to keep my portions in control by prepackaging snacks. If I have almonds I put them in snack baggies based on their portion size that way I know exactly when enough is enough. My favorite snacks are apples with peanut butter, hummus and veggies, cottage cheese with pineapple, and almonds and dried fruit.
My snacks that I like are fruit, nuts and yogurt. Portion control is something I struggle with but I try to never eat out of the bag. I like to pour the portion on a plate or bowl and sit down to eat it.
I work from home too so I totally understand the portion control issue since I don’t have to pack a lunch. My go-to snacks are nuts, fruit, and I love homemade chia pudding. It is nice to be able to make it ahead of time and then put it into single-serve containers and then just grab from the fridge!
Thanks for the giveaway and happy holidays!!
My go-to snacks are Lara Bars and KIND bars. I love the different variety of flavors they offer and they both always keep my full and energized. I also like nut butters. 😉 I do make sure I portion out 2 tbsp into a container when I pack my lunch… or else I could eat the whole jar in one sitting!
Work snacking is probably the most dangerous. I try to avoid the office treats by bringing my own. I’ll pack veggies and keep a container of hummus in the work fridge, apples and almonds are all easy options.
My go to snacks are an apple or banana with peanut or almond butter, a green juice, or some type of bar. When I’m packing things like nuts or granola for work I always portion them out in single portion containers otherwise I might just eat a whole bag of granola or cashews (it’s happened many times 🙂 )
Fruit. Most fruit naturally comes in a serving size, but I also don’t feel too guilty if I have too much.
Go to snacks are fruit, string cheese, luna bars, almonds, kind bars~ and I totally agree that portion control is much easier away from home…I tend to use my children’s small containers for packing snacks 😉
My go-to snack is usually edamame or veggies and homemade hummus that I bring to work in a portioned tupperware!
apples with almond butter, berries, grapes, plantain chips (though those are harder to control portions!), pistachios, other nuts and dried fruit.
Right now I’m loving chia seed pudding with raspberries and a banana. Simple and filling. Another favorite is a rice cake with some kind of almond butter.
I typically will go for a grab and go fruit such as a pear or apple! If I’m craving something with a little more protein punch than you’ll find me with a questbar. I always have some sort of energy bar in my bag in cause I get hungry along my daily adventures!
Those snacks all look delicious…and healthy too! My go to snacks are granola nut bars.
I always tend to eat fruit for a snack, it is so easy to just grab an apple, orange or banana and head out the door.
My go-to snacks are raw walnuts, Pure bars, Quest protein bars, and nut butter packets (almond butter, peanut butter, walnut butter, macadamia nut butter, etc.) with dried fruit. I pre-portion everything out and either eat at home or in the car (right after my gym workouts).
Kind bars are my go-to snack! The nut and spice line.
I limit my snacks to whole ingredients and stray from anything processed. Examples: fruit, veggies, nuts, hummus, homemade lara bars. I try to eat clean most of the time. but keep my snacks 100% clean gives me a little wiggle room when I want to treat myself with an indulgent food!
My favorite snack is any combination involving nuts. I feel less inclined to go for the nut butters after.
my go to snack has to be either pumpkin seeds or some kind of fruit.
My go-to snacks are fruit and portion controlled packs of nut butter!
for work I always measure out my snacks in ziplock bags (usually cashews and some fruit of veggie) and have them all ready to just grab and go for the week
My go to snacks are almonds, apples, quest bars, and greek yogurt. To keep my portions in check I always make sure to measure out correctly, or make sure my food fits my daily macros! 🙂 I always need a snack a few hours after breakfast, because i work full time as a nanny, I’m always on the go and running around chasing kids! I need my energy lol
This is a great giveaway! I’ve always wanted to try a healthy snack subscription. I like to use small containers and plates to measure my snacks and meals to keep portions in check. And I snack on trail mixes and yogurts, and would love to try all the granola bites from Nourish Snacks. Hope I win!
Almost every morning I have fruit and either cheese or a handful of nuts. I measure it out beforehand and pack it in my lunch bag for work!
At work I do a mid morning snack(100 calorie pack of nuts or something similar) Then in the afternoon I grab an apple. The crunch factor make me feel satisfied!
My go-to is usually almonds or apple with almond butter. Though lately it has been clementines! Loving those right now and I feel okay eating more than one. Not saying I don’t reach for the kids’ snacks every now and then, but I’m trying!
Lately my go to snack has been a 5 oz container of Greek yogurt with a half scoop of Trutein protein mixed in (this month, the flavor is chocolate peanut butter cup, super yum). I’m also a big fan of celery or cucumber slices with homemade pico de gallo, or just a few ounces of raw vegetables of the Brassica family.
my go-to snacks are carrot or cucumber slices with hummus or without and for something sweet it would have to be a pink lady apple.
definitely an apple! sometimes I get a little out of control when I decide to do an apple + pb though, which is when portion control is so so necessary!
My favorite snack is fruit. The natural fruitsugar gives me energi throughout the day. If I am hungry i pair it up with nuts or peanutbutter to combine it with some protein. It always keeps me satisfies between meals.
go to snacks are almonds. i usually get out 8-12 at a time and usually that is enough to tide the hunger over.
almonds, bars, fruit, and trail mix are my go-tos. portion control mostly by trying to practice mindful eating.
My healthy on the go snack would have to be almonds. I keep a container in my car at all times. I just have to remember to limit my portions. 🙂
My go-to snack is definitely low fat yogurt (regular). Especially Danon Lite.
My go to snacks are kind bars and fruit or nuts. Portion control is always a challenge, but I usually pour a small amount on a plate and move away from the bag.
When I want something sweet I snack on fruit w/ a handful of nuts or popcorn, and when I want something salty I do veggies with hummus and crackers. To keep portions in check, I just try to be more aware of the amount in my hand before I shove it in my mouth!!
I love having fruit -- either an apple, clementines or an orange. Perfect portion control
portion control is always a problem for me, I try to split snacks up before hand like big bags into individual serving sizes instead of paying more for someone else to sort them!
Right now my go-to snacks are usually some combo of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. I try to weight them out and then put them into separate tupper-ware containers so I can quickly grab them in the morning on my way out the door.
My go to snack are Lara bars. Mainly because being in the military and a mommy makes it hard to spend time making healthy snacks/meals. These would be great!
Well for me I always have in my purse almonds, walnuts and bars. I always put in a zip bag and when I’m out in about ( like always) I like to have my healthy snacks in hand and I also carry for my kids not only it’s healthy for all of us but I save money. Now how I control the portions is I like to measure them in each bag like almonds I like to put in like 20 of them now I don’t eat them all at onces just a few.
I could totally use these snacks right now. I didn’t bring enough snacks with me to work today & my stomach is growling.
I love to load my lunch bag with bananas, baby carrots, & laughing cow cheese -- for my go to snacks.
I’m old school and love apples for snacks!
cut up vegetables (lately it’s been celery) and whole pieces of fruit that are easily portable (apples, kiwi, bananas--although they are trickier to transport!) are important for me because I am always on the go. I keep almonds and also peanut butter (tried the pb with flax and chia after watching your video--love it!) in my desk drawer at work also!
I always go to almonds, but have a little trouble with portion control. So, my favorite right now is Two Moms in The Raw bars; just found them. Because they’re wrapped and single serve it’s much easier for me to be smart and eat only one.
I always bring an apple and half of a grapefruit with me to work, but I love bringing small square resusable plastic containers of 1-2T of hummus and a snack size baggie of 10 pita chips. Salty, but not too much, and perfectly portion controlled!
I l ok ‘ve fresh fruit and nuts, especially pre portioned nuts and trail mix from trader Joe’s !
My go-to snacks are cut up veggies with hummus (I make little packs during my weekly meal prep) or fruit and nut butter because that is easy to grab and go in the morning! I also have my work desk stocked with emergency supplies of raw almonds, plain oatmeal packets, and/or rice cakes in case I completely forget to grab something for the work day! Awesome giveaway 🙂
Right now, I’m liking the Honey Nut flavor of the pre-packaged Planter’s Nutrition. They are easy to grab and portion controlled and I can’t over eat them at work if I only bring 1 or 2 packets, right? LOL… And I try to bring some sort of fruit for a small snack at work too:) Thanks… and I hope I win this!! I would love to try it and pass the word along.. Happy Monday!!!
Fortunately my appetite keeps my portions fairly regulated, but I tend to really like protein-rich snacks that I know will keep me energized and full for a little while. I always have a snack between when I eat breakfast (which is at about 6 am) and when I eat lunch (which can be anywhere from 12 pm to 3 pm). Thank you for the helpful tips and chance to win! 🙂
I love granola but always overdo it so I preportion it into small plastic or glass containers (reusable!) to go with yogurt. I also like to cut up carrots, celery, and peppers for the entire week to go with single portion Sabra hummus cups.
These snacks look delish and I would love to try!
My go to snacks are either a handful of almonds and an apple or sometimes I buy quest bars!
Go-to snacks are a few tables spoons of raw nuts, a homemade enery bar, or fruit!
my go to snacks are cliff bars, a medium sized apple with 2 tbsp of natural butter, and baby carrots. I use one the cup portions sizes to measure 1 cup.
My go to after work snacks are a quest bar, a power crunch bar, or a 200 calorie bag of almonds with half an apple. I put it in my gym bag that stays in my car so I can’t eat it early. When I leave work, I have my snack and hit the gym. This way, I have some energy for my workout and I don’t overdo it with a dinner!
Lately, my go-to snack has been an apple and peanut butter. It’s cheap, easy, and portable, and it tastes delicious. Hummus and apples are also surprisingly delicious together! Apples are easy to portion because it’s a whole piece of fruit, but I portion my peanut butter by using my food scale. I put a small tupperware container on it, turn it on, and then smear about 15 grams of delicious, organic, crunchy peanut butter into it. Yum!
I love Trader Joe’s portion packs of Trailmix or lately KIND Bars!
Greek yogurt with some crock pot pumpkin granola tossed in, apples with almond butter, a handful of nuts and a portion of fruit or fruit and cubed cheese are favorite snacks. Portioning the yogurt using small glass jars, and baby food jars for the granola to take out of home, and most of the cheek or almond butter goes in a glass baby food jar, a spoon comes with me and the fruit is in my bag. And I almost always keep a bottle of ice water with me in my bag, car, desk, etc. to help make sure I am hydrated as well and not just snacking thinking I am hungry when I am thirsty.
I love pre-portioned cheese sticks because cheese is something I could easily over do!
I usually eat fresh fruit for my snacks. If I’m needing some protein I have nut butter (justn’s has individual sized packets) or nuts (again I like the individual packets. I like the fact that Nourish snacks has gluten-free options because I have Celiac Disease.
my go to snack is definitely a mix of cashews, almonds, and cranberries (sometimes dried banana). it’s tastes delicious and is packed full of protein. i have a small travel container that i fill with the nut mix. this way i won’t overindulge.
My favorite go-to snacks are Greek yogurt with fresh fruit, and a banana with PB. Luckily, the yogurt and banana are already in their own portions 🙂
My go-to snacks are almonds that I count out a serving of before I put them in my bag to leave for the day, and also easy, hand-held fruits like apples, bananas, and oranges. They’re already portioned for me!
I like to keep a big canister of almonds on hand and I will grab a handful for a snack for my afternoon snack at work.
I usually always bring snacks to work to avoid the evil goodies that other people bring. In the half sized sandwich bags I will put in a mix of raw nuts. I also bring a couple of power bites made with spirolina that I get from the bulk section in Whole Foods. And of course fruit!!
My go to snacks are cheese, nuts, yogurt, protein bars and I like to portion them in my Bento Lunch box and take them to work!
I like almonds and some dark chocolate chips. I count out a serving in these cute little containers for easy grab-n-go snacks. I also like protein bars, veggies and hummus or cottage cheese. But planning ahead is the key!
Those look yummy. I’m all about the small glass pyrex containers with a lid. I can only fit 1-2 cups, great for leftovers, or cutting up fruit and veggies in advance.
I like almonds..plain popcorn…protein bars and love boiled eggs…oh and plain geek yogurt but like to try new healthy snacks to mix it up !!!!
Nuts, popcorn, yogurt, protein bars , boiled eggs…but always like new healthy snack choices to try !!!
Go to snacks for me are wasabi soy almonds, apples and larabars. Anything that’s easy and will hold me over until the next meal is ideal. Portable is also key.
My go to snack are the portioned mixed nuts at Trader Joes and I also love Justin’s single serve almond butter. These snacks sound amazing!
At the moment, my go to snacks are walnuts and dates, and I’m also loving Martin’s Apple Chips, which have no added sugar or preservatives! I usually take about a handful of walnuts and put them in a compostable sandwich bag (Ziploc brand) or in a small container and I add about 3-5 dates depending on their size.
I al ays have trader joes trail mix and dried fruits on hand. I have set times of day I’m allowed to snack and little cups to use so I don’t go overboard!
My go-to snacks tend to be whole foods (a piece of fruit, hard-boiled egg, pumpkin seeds). I try to create portioned out servings at the beginning of the week for snacks like seeds, nuts, dried fruit, or popcorn, so I don’t find myself eating the whole bag.
my favorite snack is Fuji apples and peanut butter!
My go to snack is a Larabar! They are delicious, portioned controlled, and give me the energy I need!
My go to snacks are the pre packaged packs of almonds or mixed nuts and chocolate rom Trader joes….
Oh these look awesome! My fav snacks are hummus and carrots, apples and almond butter, or a home made trail mix. The simpler, the better 🙂
My go-to snacks are fruit, yogurt, or trail mix.
My go to snack is currently a plain greek yogurt with PB2 stirred in. Really good to dip apple slices in and a great on the go snack.
My go-to snacks right now are raw almonds and greek yogurt. If I can buy single serve packs, I pre-portion everything into snack bags so they’re ready to grab and go.
I buy trail mix at Trader Joe’s and measure it with a measuring cup into snack size ziplock baggies. This works for me because by rationing out my snacks I won’t eat the entire bag in a day or two! These prepackaged portion snacks all look delish & would love to try them!!
My go-to snack is either a piece of gluten free bread toasted with peanut butter and raspberries or an apple microwaved with cinnamon and peanut butter. Can you guess what my favorite nut butter is? I used to use a tbl to measure out the PB; but now I can eyeball it out like an expert!
My favorite snack on the go is Jerky! Its a fast protein that keeps me going!
Greek yogurt is my go-to snack because it’s portion-controlled and so filling!
I love hummus and carrots and Questbars!
My go to snack is a banana with almond butter. Fool proof!
My go to snack is usually fruit, which I get from work so it’s automatically portion controlled. When I’m eating something junkier at home I just try to be mindful over how full I am, and only keep the bare minimum of snack foods around, so I’m not tempted to snack on multiple items.
My go to snack is almonds and a piece of fruit:)
Almonds and grapes
Portioned in small to-go cups
I love bananas or apples with peanut butter! I also love Greek yogurt with granola although I have to watch my portions with granola! So addicting!
Greek yogurt with fruit is always a great option for me. I also love turkey jerky and hard boiled eggs for some quick protein and variety.
My go to snacks are rice cakes, granola, fruit, carrots, popcorn, and apple sauce.
My go to snacks are usually quest bars, beef jerky, a piece of string cheese or a small cartoon of skim milk. I usually buy single-serving packets or measure them out before I leave the house.
the Justin’s peanut butter single servings are a savior, and the single serve guacamole and cottage cheese!
My aftnoon snack is a greek yogurt (light and fit 80 cal). I usually add a little bit of almonds in there to add the crunch. Sometimes I snack on a quest bar since it’s full or protien and low on sugar. Sometimes sweet peppers or carrots are my snacks as well.
I normally eat 6 times a day, so portion control is super important! I try to make sure my main 3 meals are under 350 calories and my snacks are under 200. When I eat out, I make sure to cut it in half especially if it’s dinner size.
My go-to snack is a an apple with peanut butter, some almonds, or sometimes a protein bar if I’m out and about. I try and keep a mixture of those at my desk so I’m less tempted to hit the candy bowl.
My go to for snacks are quite limited … I work at a desk all day and I prefer to not buy things from my place of employment, I am not giving them back the paycheck they give me…. so I have to pack things in my lunch bag … I generally bring yogurt and granola -- its delicious and fills my sweet cravings. I also like to bring chex mix , yes not exactly healthy but fulfills my salty cravings!
My go to snacks are an apple with PB2, oatmeal, greek yogurt or a Kind bar!
Apple and PB! Keeps you full and is soon yummy
My go-to snacks are apples with almond butter, and roasted chickpeas. Portion control is hard, but I always try to serve myself onto a plate instead of snacking out of bags. It’s a lot easier with things like fruit that are already pre-portioned!
My go to snacks are greek yogurt and crunchy carrots which I measure with cups and scales.
Veggies with greek yogurt dip or hummus….I use a scale and measuring spoons when i’m really trying to watch my portion sizes. Measure out single serve portions ans keep them ready to go in the fridge.
I tend to stick to a piece of fruit for a snack so i have no portion control problems there as i just eat 1 piece. I also like small jars of greek yoghurt and i like making my own bars. When i purchase nuts and seeds i like to mix them up in a jar and i buy little ziplock bags and put a handful in a bag. I like to do that for a whole week so i’m not tempted to add morr later.
I’m struggling to eat healthy and lose some weight, so my snack choices are not that great, but I’m really into bananas and carrots. Usually not at the same time. Sadly, bananas bruise easily and carrots are better cold. Those nourish snacks look extremely delicious, and the perfect fake junk food. I can’t wait to try them!
I love apples and almonalmond butter, think thin bars, almonds, and coconut chips.
I try to prep a few of the snacks I mentioned above in pre-portioned container.
My favorite snacks are granola, string cheese and smoothies (not together of course). I think what works best for me is to just put a serving in a bowl or just fill my glass with the smoothie and then put the package away if it comes in a big bag. And then I take my time. My willpower is pretty good when it comes to this sort of thing. Thanks for the giveaway!
Having the “food-temper” of a four year old child, it’s important I get my snacks and that they fill me up between meals keeping my bloodsuger intact. I usually make my own proteinballs and keep them in the freezer so that I can grab one when I need a quick fix. I love that I can choose exactly what goes in them. The batch in my freezer now is made with dates, cashews, walnuts, cocoa, coconut oil and proteinpowder. I’ll probably throw in some gingerbread spices next time to make them fit the holidays. Thanks for your inspiration Sarah, great blog. After your recent review, the TomTom cardio watch is the number one item on my wishlist 🙂
i buy veggies like carrots, cucumbers and peppers and chop them up and divide them into snack size containers and store them in my fridge. This way it is just as easy to grab a healthy snack instead of something like chips or sweets.
I buy a lot of things that are pre-portioned to keep myself in check, such as the 100 calorie nut packs.
Go to snack- hard boiled eggs or a protein shake. I find the protein fills me up so I don’t keep going back for more!
🙂
Go to snack: mixed nuts, the scale is my new best friend! about 30 g/ 1 oz, put them in a small container and good to go!
My go to snacks are almonds, apples with peanut butter or rice cakes, carrots and hummus and yogurt. I measure out the servings before hand and put them in little baggies so I can throw them in my bag as I leave. I also love protein bars, because they are pre packaged, no measuring and fit perfectly into any situation I might get myself into.
Those sound awesome!
I have to portion out small amounts b/c left to my own demise, I would always devour way too much! I have food portion control issues!
i really love snacking on carrot sticks! and hummus! im not sure i keep my portions small but i try to eat good stuff!
I love to snack on greek yogurt and quest bars! That way I can keep my portions in control
My go-to snacks are usually fruit, hard boiled eggs, carro sticks -- try to keep things fresh in nature’s own serving size haha.
I buy the 100 calorie packs of almonds. I keep one in my purse in case of extreme hungries!! I also like Kind bars, easy to grab and go.
String cheese and fruit or I will premeasure nut butter and make a half sandwich to carry around.
My absolute favorite snacks are bananas, apples and peanut butter, or a snack sized pack of baby carrots.
My go to snack is granola bars (already portioned controlled)! Also, anything with peanut butter!!
I usually bring a snack to work like veggies (carrots, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes) and hummus or a small container of yogurt. However, I like to keep snacks at my desk for emergencies like preportioned organic instant oatmeal, dry roasted edamame and lara bars.
A good snack for me is a protein shake with fruit.
I love fruit, larabars, Greek yogurt and individual sized bags of kettle corn from trader joes (SO good!) for snacks
I love cucumbers and carrots with hummus, the 100 calorie pack of almonds, and a local store near me sells dried papaya with no added sugar so those are my every now and then snack
Fruit is such a go-to for my snacks. I also will have a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter on it.
My go to snacks are an apple/pear and almond butter (or cashew butter, peanut butter, or sunflower seed butter- I don’t like to discriminate) and veges and hummus.
At work I keep rice cakes and kind bars in my desk. I love hummus with veggies or making smoothies when I’m at home!
One of my favorite snacks is PB and bananas, so in order to avoid going over board I usually make mini “sandwiches” with 2 banana slices and a tiny bit of PB on the inside. So delicious and filling!
I love granola bars, roasted nuts, apples, and/or grapes!!
My go to snack, especially this time of year, is a cutie orange and 1/4 c almonds. My husband and I bag up the nuts by 1/4 c when we buy them in bulk, so I just have to grab a bag and tiny orange and my snack is good to go!
My go-to snacks are almonds or an apple with peanut butter. I always am careful to measure serving sizes and place them in a Tupperware container to discourage me from going back to get more!
My go to snacks are a chopped apple/ blueberries with a dollop of Greek Yoghurt or some roasted brocolli!I control portion sizes by using small side plates 🙂
I don’t typically keep anything other than fruit or veggies around because when I’m at home, I WILL eat whatever is in the pantry…whether I’m hungry or not. I have tried Nourish before though and really loved the taste and clean ingredients. I keep nut mixes and bars handy when I’m traveling or on the go.
I use the “snack size” ziplock baggies or the small 1/3 cup rubbermaid containers to pack my snacks in to keep portion sizes in check!
My go to snacks are greek yogurt, protein bars, almonds, & string cheese
My favourite go to snack is either a handful of raisins and nuts or your breakfast cookies. They are so divine and amazing and perfect to have before a workout or when you are in a hurry. They are sweet and the tastes go so well with each other and the best thing is that there are no added sugars or bad e numbers. The biggest reason to why I want to win these snacks are one because it is so expensive to buy healthy things her where I live and especially snack, and second because I have such a BIG problem with portion control. I have a handful of raisins and when I have finished I always want more, I get cravings and go and grab some more because the pack is open. Because the products are already packaged it means that I don’t have to grab the snack in my bare hands, because I have got OCD and bacteria phobia I just can’t grab it in my hands and eat it. Because I have chosen to live a active lifestyle and my school takes a lot of time I often need to snack but nether my body or wallet/purse thank me if I have to buy it and don’t have time to pack it in the morning because I go up at 5 a to go to the gym!
Thank you for an amazing blog and amazing support Sarah!
My go to snack is an apple or peanut butter with scoop of all natural peanut butter!

I like larabars a lot, and bulk trail mix. i dont worry about portion control lately because I dont have much of an appetite (my problem is eating too little, not too much)
My go-to snacks are dry-roasted edamame and veggies with hummus. I try to portion out edamame by serving size in plastic bags…I definitely have trouble keeping my hummus consumption to less than two servings though haha
I love the mini hummus cups from sabra, they are the perfect size for a snack!
Mine are raw almonds, KIND bars, and fruit of any kind. I need to get better about snacking on veggies and hummus.

These would be such a great addition to my diet. I am an on the go college grad going into grad school living the paleo / yoga loving life! I am always looking for a way to include extra fats, calories and nuts as i tend to eat mainly healthy veggie based salads a bit too much (ok maybe even every day) 🙂 but I’m addicted!

I take pieces of fruit to work -- instant portion control!
Some of my go to snacks are almonds, bananas with peanut butter, and carrots with hummus. I keep my portions in control using plastic baggies and small ziploc containers and portioning everything out beforehand
I love any type of bar, especially Larabars
I love mixed nuts and fruit and I keep it in little containers that are snack size so I don’t eat too much at a time.
ALMOND BUTTER! I BUY THE LITTLE PACKS SO I CAN CONTROL MY INTAKE!
I like lara and luna bars, especially since they already are portion controlled for me.
I love snacking on apples with almond butter, popcorn, or crackers and hummus. To keep my portions under control I always make sure to put what I’m eating out on a plate one serving size at a time. If I’m hungry I will add another serving to the plate once the first is finished but usually one is enough and the extra pain of having to go back to the container for more is enough to stop me there!
I love pretzels or apples with almond butter! It’s definitely a better idea to pour a few into a bowl rather than eating straight from the bag!
As a college student, I try to be smart about snacking. For a bite in between class, I’ll stick to cashews and dried fruit that I pre-portion in plastic baggies. For something to tide me over if I don’t know when I’ll have time to eat again, I really love baking my own sweet potato chips. Just slice the sweet potatoes very thinly, drizzle with olive oil, add a sprinkle of sea salt, cinnamon, and chili powder before baking in the oven. All the flavor without the guilt 🙂
my go to snack is almonds and raisins mixed together. I put it in a snack Baggie every night to take to work.
I like to bring baggies of almonds to work.
I buy the snack bags from Target that have measurements on them, and fill them with a serving of nuts or fruit or whatever I’m snacking on!
I love fruit like apples, bananas, pears, etc., string cheese, almonds and l’m also a sucker for bars! Most of these are already preportioned so l don’t have a problem with serving sizes 🙂
I like perfect food bars- they have mini ones but these look great!
My go to snack is a green smoothie! I love adding hand fulls of spinach or kale to almond milk and blending in some of the following: pumpkin, apples, frozen bananas, avocado, flaxseed/chia seed, lemon, and other fruits and veggies. I usually keep it in the freezer for a bit and then top it with healthy no-sugar added granola, dried fruit, or shredded coconut (and lately pumpkin spice since its holiday time!) I absolutely LOVE trail mix but as you said, its hard to control portion sizes. The Nourish Snacks single-portion packs sound like a great alternative. I’d love to try them!
My favorite snack is kale chips. I measure and prepackage into baggies using a food scale. I also love chickpeas by The Good Bean. I think they come in single serve bags but I found a big bag at HomeGoods so I fill a GoStak jar to take with me when I’m on the go. They’re so handy for snacks like the chickpeas or nuts/trail mix.
My go yo snacks are nuts. I manage portions by measuring them out otherwise I eat too many.
My go to snack is nut butter and fruit. I keep my portions in check by purchasing pre-packaged butters so I don’t eat the whole jar in one sitting!
I love eating nuts, cheese, and fruit as a snack. Often I’ll set it all out on a plate like a cheese plate and put all of the ingredients away before I can put more on the plate.
