Summer is 6 weeks away sorta… In New England, I don’t know why Memorial Day is considered the summer when really it starts the weekend of the 4th of July, right? At least that’s when I usually first wear a bathing suit or attempt to go in the ocean.
However, 6 weeks is a good time frame for some goals. It’s not too long and not unrealistically short. I’ve got 10 lbs to lose and am going to be trying to do it by Memorial Day – two months later than I had hoped but I’d be lying if I said I was upset. I’ve been enjoying eating like a truck driver without gaining extra weight. I think all new moms should be able to enjoy the judgement free time. I’m not like most moms and have people on YouTube asking me if I got a wisdom teeth removal Boise because my face has looked puffy for the past 1-5 weeks… seriously!
“No lady, I just said in the beginning of this video, I have to lose 10 lbs to get back to my pre baby body, did you even watch a second of it?”
No need to ask if this really happened. The comment is on the video below where I share the tips that have helped me lose weight in the past. I’m really hoping they still work with a few years added on but I’m really going to miss my wine at night I think the most.
If you’ve been following me for years, you likely already know many of my tips. The first one might surprise you the most. If this blog became a baby blog, it might now become a weight loss one until Memorial Day.
Okay so I just saw your snap chat in relation to this video and I feel your pain!! I tried “dieting” and I was starving all the time!!! It’s really hard when you are BF isn’t it?
I lasted until 3pm and then ate a mango, single serve bag of trail mix, peanut butter out of the jar and indiv. bag of kettle corn
Thanks for the video. For me….I have to count calories…otherwise, I have no idea how much I’m eating.. My Fitness Pal is a great website, Its really easy to log your food each day. Drinking more water really helps too. XO
I generally like eat around 80-100 grams of protein a day and make sure that breakfast contains the most amount of protein out of all my meals! I always make sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated during the day. I try to make sure that all of my habits, however, are sustainable and maintainable long term so I don’t rebound!
I do the same, I drink luke warm water(empty stomach) in the morning by adding some lemon and honey into it. This is actually working for me. Thanks for the video!
