I’ve been patiently waiting for the South End location of Pressed to open and finally this week it did! I’ve known for a long time that they would be taking over the space Recycle Studio once occupied (and now moved to Union Park) and I’m glad that the South End now has a vegan, veggie-centric option for eating out as well as stroller friendly juice spot.
Just take all my money now.
The space has plenty of seats to sit down and enjoy a meal unlike the Beacon Hill location. The beautiful garden on the wall was done by Niche, another local South End store on Tremont Street.
Right now, they are open 8 to 8 so you can stop in and grab a juice or overnight oats for breakfast or you can stop in for a light dinner, too. One of my menu favorites is the avocado toast which I think is the best in the city.
True story, I chose to deliver at MGH so I could eat their avocado toast on my way to get my check ups.
I’ve already been twice and it only opened on Monday. The menu has a few new items I’m excited to try like spiraled veggie noodles.
They may open a little earlier in the coming weeks if there is a demand so if you live in the South End and want an earlier open time, let them know in the comments here or when you stop in to check it out yourself.
Where is your favorite avocado toast in the city?
