School lunch ideas are tough when you have a small child who changes what foods they like depending on the day of the week. I feel lucky that Tommy is content right now with just a sunbutter sandwich on sprouted grains but I know this can’t last.
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite sandwich idea that are toddler approved to spice up your kid’s school lunches. Here is what you’ll need:
- cinnamon raisin bread
- sprouted grain or whole wheat sourdough loaf
- cream cheese
- sunbutter
- honey
- cinnamon
- every but the bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s
- fresh fruit like bananas or strawberries
- Hummus
- Turkey (optional)
