Pinapple Mango Lassi – Vegan Smoothie Recipe

I have another recipe from the revamped Tone It Up plan for you guys today! I’ve been obsessed with smoothies all summer. It’s a refreshing breakfast that hits the spot on a hot day, especially if you don’t have air conditioning like me. This recipe features one of my favorite fruits, the mango. The video features a pineapple mango lassi recipe that is made with almond milk and Perfect Fit, a vegan protein powder. While I say lassi like the dog in the video, it’s actually pronounced luh-see according to my YouTube viewers. Oops. I did do my research to see where the lassi comes from and what it originally is made with which is India and yogurt. Regardless of the name, it’s delicious. Watch the video to get the full recipe!

If you are on the TIU diet plan, this is perfect for meals 1, 2 or 3. Enjoy! I like to have my smoothies as my breakfast or post working out. It’s important to replenish your body after a hard workout with water, protein and good carbs to repair your muscles and restore energy levels.

    I’m really into smoothies this summer too! That looks great! My favorite one this summer is Mango, Banana, and coconut water, it’s so refreshing!

    This looks so yummy! Lately I’ve been having watermelon and strawberry smoothies… delish! Also, I’ve never even heard of a lassi haha

    I really love putting mango, pineapple, a spritz of lime, a pinch of cayenne pepper and salt together and blending it up. Believe me it’s really good.
