I would like a quick show of hands. Since I work in social media, I have a profile on every site. You can pretty much follow what I’m doing on any and every social networking platform. But for those of you whose day job is not, which do you prefer?

Do you like Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram or Facebook the best for live updates?

Let me know in the comments below. Today and tomorrow, I will be at Wanderlust but will be sharing what I’m doing on my social media platforms. If you’re curious how I’m going to hold up after 4 hours of hiking and 6 hours of yoga in 90 degree heat today and tomorrow, check one of them out.

I’ve been pretty into Instagram lately because it directly goes to Twitter and Tumblr. I’ve been shying away from Facebook a lot. I never leave the site feeling warm and fuzzy. It always puts me in a bad mood. But I do see traffic coming from Facebook to SarahFit.com so I’m curious if I’m in the minority. Have you been shying away as well? I love using it to see pictures of my nephews and share funny pictures of my friends dancing on bars at 3 PM, but other than that, I could leave it.

Do I still got it? Playing soccer 5 years later…

Yesterday, I uploaded a video featuring my soccer experience with the New England Revolution on Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play! It was one of the coolest things I have done this year. It is in the top 10 for sure.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Tumblr?

    Hi Sarah,

Love the vid! Have to say, I’m more of a Facebook girl myself. Very hit and miss with Twitter and only just getting into instagram. Always have FB open though.

However, now that I’m signed up for your email updates, I needn’t worry. I’ll never miss a thing!

    Thanks for being an inspiration,

It’s funny that you say that about FB (that you leave feeling worse). I can relate!! I just rejoined Twitter (following you!), and I’m liking the quick updates. I guess it’s a tie between FB and Twitter (since I don’t have a tumblr or instagram account).

I get you in my email and just click on the link. I would prefer twitter because I have that open all the time. I am new to Facebook and it is just to cluttery with so much stuff, scrolling and scrolling. I just learned how to hide some things. At Twitter it is short and sweet.

I love you post on here, cause its easy to make sure I don’t miss them. They are emailed to me so if I can’t read them right away I can go back later and read them.
    Good luck in the heat!

I prefer Facebook because all of my friends and family are on there and it is easy. I can’t figure out Twitter and all of the retweet stuff. Tumblr just never made the cut and Instagram…I own a BB so nothing for me. I don’t understand it anyway. Isn’t it owned by FB so why wouldn’t it automatically update FB as well as Twitter and Tumblr?

I still don’t have a tumblr account… I just don’t know if I need one more place to manage? Twitter is still my fave because I feel like it’s a little more accepted to send out multiple tweets in a short period of time (I always have random thoughts, links to share etc) where I think people would totally get annoyed with multiple Instagram photos? I try to limit those… Oh and I am totally over Facebook.

I’m a Twitter girl myself. I only use Facebook to keep in touch with people I know, but I don’t like it for ‘following’ people I don’t know. (ha that kind of sounded creepy but you know what I mean). I love that you can post from Instagram to Twitter too.
