This winter, I’ve been buying a lot of new gear for shoots and winter training. Yes, I or a family member bought all these items – some were gifts from Christmas. They were not sent to me by PR people. Wanna see what the products look like in real life, watch my newest video featuring every item in this post plus some extras!
Athleta Aries Jacket Now $128
I bought this jacket for my winter Boston Marathon training. So far, it has kept my long runs in cold temperatures enjoyable!
The inside is lined with a warm fleece that wicks sweat. The front and back panels are a thin down material which traps heat but allows for ventilation. It is currently on sale but I bought it with my trainer discount for 30%. If you are a trainer, you can buy things at Athleta for a discount or whichever discount is greater depending on what sales the stores have going on.
When it is super cold I wear the hood!
Choleah Boots by Adidas (purchased from Athleta, no longer available)
So I asked for these boots from my Mom for Christmas to wear to Barry’s Bootcamp for when the snow arrived. They are not sneakers but look like them. They are actually waterproof boots with Adidas Climawarm technology to keep your feet warm. I feel bad sharing them since I seriously cannot find them anywhere available on the internet! An Athleta employee told me her store had a really hard time keeping them in stock this year. They were sold out by December 15th so I understand.
I bought this top for a fun shoot that I actually started today. I will let you know what I’m shooting as soon as I have a definite release date but it obviously involved fitness.
I love this top because the sports bra has plenty of support for strength training for me – maybe not for running but everything else, it’s good! The back is super cute and comfy too with the contrasting sports bar and drapey back.
Lululemon Think Fast Pullover $98
Roomie bought this for me along with the headband from Lululemon for Christmas for my winter training! I love this top too much to run it in though! I wear it all the time to the studio, around the house to keep warm and while it’s made to wear while running, I’ve yet to do it.
