Sunday marks the XLVIII Superbowl, also known at the 48th NFL championship game between Seattle and Denver, the only two states where marijuana for recreational use is actually legal. Let’s hope this means the post-game riots will be nonexistent. If you are just watching for the commercials or to root against your rival Welker or Manning, here are a few of my favorite Superbowl recipes and ideas.
Slow cook that shit and will not regret it. Just chicken and salsa in a crockpot on low for 6-7 hours. Pull apart 2/3rd the way through the recommended cooking time. Made tacos, quesadillas, add on top of nachos or mix with a little ranch dressing and pico de gallo for a chunky dip.
2. Crazy Sexy Bean Chilli (above)
I have not made this recipe, but I love Kris Carr and this vegan chilli recipe sounds delicious and crowd pleasing. I doubt the beef will go missing and no there is no meat substitute in the recipe.
No party is complete without buffalo chicken dip… at least none that I’m invited to. I use Laughing Cow Blue Cheese wedges in this recipe to reduce the calories without sacrificing the taste.

This recipe crossed my dashboard from my favorite spin studio in Boston, Recycle Studio but is borrowed from PaleoOMG who called it the almost 5 ingredient pizza spaghetti pie.
I challenge you to be different. Bring the healthy homemade dip! Guys love hummus.
