In my efforts to give my blog a more Boston vibe on occasion, I bring you a new studio opening with much anticipation…
“SoulCycle, the country’s premiere full-body indoor cycling workout, will open in Chestnut Hill on March 5, 2014, marking the brands first studio in the Boston area and 26th studio nationwide. Located in Chestnut Hill Square, SoulCycle joins Boston’s exciting new open-air lifestyle and retail destination, conveniently located on Route 9 Eastbound in Chestnut Hill.” [Press Release]
Sadly, most of us that actually live in Boston will not regularly go to SoulCycle as it’s too far away, and many city dwellers do not have cars. Chestnut Hill is not easily accessible by public transit in my opinion. I am still excited to go check it out and make a nice little Saturday or Sunday of it. At Barry’s, I’ve been surprised at how many women from the suburbs near here come in to workout with us Downtown so the 55-bikes will be filled in time.
The location is close to the new Sports Club/LA, Equinox, Sweetgreen, Shake Shack and DryBar. Those who grew up in the ‘burbs like me, know this area of rt 9 as between the old Women’s Bloomingdales and Cheesecake Factory.
