You don’t need a tummy tuck to get flat abs unless you are Octomom, of course. Pilates is probably one of my favorite practices for creating a flat tummy. Today, I have a 5 minute, 3-move sequence you can do at home or at the gym after you get off the treadmill.
This workout was created by Jenn Phelan, one of my favorite Pilates ladies here in Boston. If you liked this video, be sure to check out the other workout videos I have featuring Jenn.

Hi, Sarah! I am a new mom and am trying to get rid of my little baby pouch without running constantly. I can’t stand to run. Anyway, I found your video on tumblr and was just wondering if it really does help you get to a flatter stomach in just two weeks. Of course, to get the stomach I want, it will take longer than that but is that line serious or just a “watch me” gimmic? lol
I love standing abs. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the post, I am actually trying to incorporate some pilates into my routine
As a mother of two children I have to admit pilates exercises helped me a great deal during my pregnancy. It’s a wonderful way to clear the mind and stay fit. Now I feel twice as stronger as I used to be and I try to give all my energy to my children. I could hardly manage to do all the tasks properly had I not done these on a regular basis.
If you are stuck at a plateu in your strength training routine, supersets will take you to the next level. When you do supersets it involves doing two different exercises, working the same muscle group, with little rest in-between. Supersets demand more from your muscles and need to be used only sparingly.
